4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

4.1      The James Law Firm sends SMS text messages regarding scheduling, appointment and deadline reminders, case status updates, requests for documents and information, billing and settlement notifications, and responses to inquiries submitted to the firm.

4.2      You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply “STOP” to any message you receive from us. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

4.4      Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4.5      As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

4.6      Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase or of legal representation.

4.7      No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
